Juvenile notes

All the juvenile teams have been very busy in the last couple of weeks. The under 16 footballers played Ballingarry on Easter Monday but were beaten by 7 points. The newcastle players were J. Grant, M. McGrath, J. McGrath, J. Hally, O. O'Dwyer and A. Kiely. The under 14 footballers have won the first two games of their championship beating Ballylooby/ Fr Sheehys and Grangemockler. They also beat Clonmel Commercials on Sunday last, April 12th in the semi-final of the Peil na nOg competition by 4-6 to 2-4. They will now play Moyle Rovers in the final. The team is P. O'Loughlin, J. O'Donnell, F. Ryder, J. Sturkina, A. O'Neill, T. Taylor, D. Kelly, M. Zimmerman, J. Rice Fitzpatrick, C. O'Loughlin and L. Condon. The under 12s were due to play Ballingarry on Saturday last, but Ballingarry were unable to field a team. They have now progressed to the south final which will be held on May 3rd. The team is C. O'Loughlin, J. Kiely, R. Powell, T. Kiely, C. Slevin, C. O'Reilly, T. Cremmins, J. McLean, C. Kennedy, J. Dennehy, T. Guinan, O. Guinan, D. Coyne, T. Ross and F. O'Dwyer. The under 10s travelled to Rockwell on Saturday blast to take part in a blitz. Well done to all who took part.
