Race Night

posted 24 May 2014, 04:33 by Newcastle Gaa
Newcastle GAA Club & Scoil Mhuire Caislean Nua are holding a fundraising Gala Race Night in the Bridge Bar, Fourmilewater on Sunday 3rd August. The funds raised will be used to meet the current and future needs of the National School and the GAA Club.

The GAA Club also plays an important role in the community through the promotion of our national games, involving practically every household in the area from U6’s up to adult level.
Funds raised will be used by the GAA club for continuing maintenance and upkeep of our playing field and complex, and for purchasing training equipment.

The School plays a vital and much appreciated role in our community through involvement in games, music, dance, Green Flag awards, and many other local and national projects. The new classroom now means that the School can continue to provide for the needs of children in future years with the on-going support of pupils, staff, parents, past pupils and the local community.

You can support this joint fundraising initiative in different ways:
    1. Buying and naming a horse and jockey for €10;
    2. Placing an advertisement in the Race Night programme for €50 (full page) or €30 (half page);
    3. Sponsoring a race for €100

Your support, in any of the above formats, will be much appreciated by both groups. Sponsorship can be arranged by contacting either the GAA club or the school.

We would also like to invite you to join us at the Race Night on the 3rd August in the Bridge Bar for a fun night’s entertainment with 10 races, followed by music.
