The first Road Hurling competition to be organised by the club will be held on the May Bank Holiday Monday, 7th May. Registration of teams will take place at the GAA complex on May 7th between 12 noon and 1.00p.m. The last time for registration will be 1pm so please be on time. The entry fee for a team of 3 players is €30 and under 18’s can take part at a cost of €5, but there must be one player over 18 years of age on each team. The list of rules and the route for the competition will be available at registration. Light refreshments will also be served at the completion of the course. We would encourage as may people as possible to come along and take part in this new and novel event. If there are any local businesses or people who may not be able to take part, but wish to give a financial contribution, contact club chairman, Michael Keating. Anyone wishing to act as steward on the course should also contact Michael Keating as soon as possible. Your support will be gratefully appreciated.
