A very hot day and an early start this morning but the girls travelled
up to Coolkenno and battled hard to beat Coolkenno in a rematch of
last years championship final.

From the start of the game the girls came flying out to an early lead
scoring 2-2 in the first few minutes and set the tone for the day.

Coolkenno never gave up and at half time there was only 3 points
separating both teams. As the game went on the heat started to take
its  toll on both teams.

But the girls really battled hard and started to take control of the game
in the last 10min and scored another few crucial scores to pull away and
secure the victory💙💛
