Under 13's League - Valleymount v Newcastle
It was a hot and sunny summer's evening as the U13s were on the road again.
The team were up in Valleymount for their last league match of the season against
St. Kevin's before the Championship starts in a couple of weeks time.
With just enough players for the match with no subs, the lads knew it wasn't
going to be easy with the conditions, but these boys are fighters.

It was a very enjoyable game to watch with both teams playing the sport the way it
should be played. It was very competitive from the start to the end.
It was also really nice to watch a game not being stopped every two minutes and t
hat was a big thanks to the referee who let the game flow.
Because of that, there was fair challenges which led to a good tempo and momentum in the game.
So a special thanks to referee.

From our last game we weren't happy with the first-half, and we worked on that in training
and we continued with the standards from the second-half of our last game into this game.
We will have to continue in that way going forward.

So proud of all the lads with their work rate and their discipline.
There was some good passing and plays, and great scores.
