Well done to U15 girls who represented Newcastle in the Feile hosted by Kilcoole.

Special thanks to Supervalu Charlesland who again looked after the team. They supplied plenty of fruit and refreshments for the day.

Well done to the girls today 👏 It was a really tough day against opposition at least a division higher, but that’s exactly the kind of challenge that helps this group grow.

After last year’s success, it’s great to test ourselves against stronger teams – the girls will learn so much from days like this and come back even better.

There were a few heads down at the end, which is understandable, but they should be very proud of their effort. Heads high – they left everything out there 💪

We only had 14/15 players for Féile, while other clubs had plenty of subs, so it was a big physical ask. No doubt they’re exhausted after putting in such a shift.

Some of the defending was unbelievable – real heart and commitment, bodies on the line. Plenty of positives to take forward.

Wishing Emily D and Katelyn a speedy recovery – hopefully the injuries aren’t too serious ❤️
